Indiana continuing education (CE) requirements:
To the extent in-person or live continuing education requirements cannot be met for calendar year 2020 due to social distancing requirements imposed under the public health emergency or to the cancellation or postponement of courses during the public health emergency, any credit-hour limitations on distance education for the following statutes are waived Ind. Code 25-33-2-2 for Psychologists.
Indiana State Board of Psychology
CE Required: 40 hours every 2 years (minimum 20 hours from Cat 1), of which:
6 hrs in Ethics is required each renewal (3 hrs must be from Cat 1)
Online CE Allowed: 30 hours (10 hrs Cat 1, 20 hrs Cat 2)
License Expiration: 8/31, even years

Indiana State Department of Education
The Indiana State Department of Education certifies school psychologists. The criteria for renewal is based on the renewal requirements used by NASP for the National Certification of School Psychologists (NCSP) and consists of obtaining seventy-five (75) continuing education hours every three years. This may be obtained through completing graduate course work, attending conferences/workshops, providing in-service activities, and participating in professional state and national activities.
